Beverly Ann Griffin, 82, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021.  Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Newman and Katherine Margurite Beck and the father who raised her, George Beck.  She is predeceased by her parents and her husband of 35 years, Charles Jerry Griffin, Sr.

Beverly worked as a private duty nurse and also retired from Amana.  She was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church and she loved gardening, sketching and drawing and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her children; Bob Tallon, Cheri Lee, Cathy Morris (Steve), Heyward Tallon, Charles Jerry Griffin, Jr. (Laurie), Robert Griffin (Beth), Tonya Keele (Gregg), Brandy Donaldson (Bill) and Barbara Dorn; nineteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her canine companion, Bella.

A funeral service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Lebanon Church with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church prior to the service.    COVID-19 protocols will be observed, including face coverings and social distancing.
