Florence, SC Betty Lynn Turbeville, 48, passed into eternity on Thursday, April 17, 2014, after a long illness. Lynn was born in Columbia, SC, a daughter of DuPree and Betty Coleman Turbeville. Lynn had a kind heart, was an avid animal lover and a NASCAR enthusiast. She loved the outdoors and spent many hours with her flowers. She was a graduate of West Florence High School and the Florence-Darlington Technical College Nursing program. She worked in the health field until forced to retire for health reasons. Lynn is survived by her parents of Florence; a brother, Russell (Melonie) Turbeville; two nieces, Carolyn and Rebekah Turbeville; and her long time special friend, Valerie Cox. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 21, 2014, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Cain Funeral Home. A funeral service will then be held at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Cain Funeral Home, followed by burial at Reedy Creek Cemetery in Rains, SC.
