Betty Fizer Holloran, 89, of Darlington, SC, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. She was born in Bluefield, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence Bright Fizer and Liley Estella Moore Fizer. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Katherine Bell Branch, Glory Lorene Worsham and Shirley Anne Beard, and her son in law, Thomas Barclay. Betty was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Florence. She worked as a telephone operator for 35 years with AT&T and then 18 years with McLeod Hospital. She loved the beach and working in her yard. She is survived by a daughter, Marcia Gail Barclay of Columbia, MO; son, "Brian" Keith Holloran, Sr. (Monique) of Effingham; grandchildren, Brian "Keith" Holloran, Jr. (Amy), Jon Ryan Holloran and Julia Nicole Holloran; six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
