Florence, SC Bernadine Rita Chase, 76, of Florence, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Florence, SC. She was born in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late John William and Agnes Katafiasz Maly. Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Chase. Survivors include: daughter, Michaelene Clissold of Farmington, MI; brother, Gerald (Josie) Maly of Toledo, OH; sisters, Dorothy Clark of Canton, MI, Mary (Jim) Jacwak of Dearborn, MI and Joanne Rice of Oak Park, MI; grandchild, Rebecca (James) Morrell of Oak Park, MI; 2 great-grandchildren, Adin and Emma Morrell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday April 1, 2013 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Luncheon to follow the funeral service at RedBone Alley. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 31, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Cain Funeral Home.
