Belinda Turbeville Smith, 56, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Mrs. Smith was born in Florence, SC a daughter of Everette D. “Slim” Turbeville, Jr. and Angelina Cox Turbeville. She loved softball and was a USC Gamecock football fan.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Shannon Drake Smith; children, Jamie Blackmon (Eric) Matthews, Michael (T) Blackmon, Amber N. Smith, and Drake C. Smith; grandchildren, Bradley Matthews, Presley Matthews, Brooklyn Massey, Baylor Love, Adelynn Love, Hampton Alexander Love; siblings, Beverly (David) Thomson, Everette D. (Shannon) Turbeville, III; special friend, Melissa Chavis and many special nieces and nephews and neighborhood kids.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
