Bascom Lee "Red" Evans, lll, of Florence, S.C., died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics, building his shop, cooking, and most of all enjoyed being with all of his family. He is preceded in death, mother and father, the late Golda and Willard Evans, a daughter, Lisa Evans Dean, and a brother, Mickey Evans. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mabeline "Bee" Eaddy Evans of Florence, S.C.(Johnsonville); one son, Bascom Lee "Buddy" Evans, IV of Johnsonville, S.C.; one daughter, Jeannie E. Rea of Garden City, Michigan; one brother, Franz Evans (Cheryl) of Greenville, S.C.; one sister, Debra E. Tysinger (Terry) of Lexington, N.C.; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 7 God-given great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 5:30-6:30 P.M. at Westside Free Will Baptist Church, 534 Vox Highway, Johnsonville, S.C.
