A memorial service for Mr. Barry L. Adams, husband of Karan Lynch Adams, will be at 2:30 PM, Thursday July 16, 2009, in Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Perry Mobley. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM tonight at Cain Funeral Home. Mr. Adams, 62, died Sunday July 12, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Ardmore, OK to the late Vernon R. and Clara Lee Adams. Mr. Adams came to Florence in 1982 and was employed by Simonds International for the past 27 years, currently serving as Customer Service Manager. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He was a beloved husband and father and had an influence on all those he knew. Barry loved God with all his heart. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: daughters, Dana Adams Redrow of Valencia, CA and Kara Adams Evans of Florence; grandchildren, Rachel Boatwright, Luke, Andrew, Seth and Eve Evans; twin brother, Larry R. (Penny) Adams of Sorrento, FL; sister, Sharon A. Skinner of Gonzales, LA; nephews, Steven R. Adams of Windham, ME and Jeffery B. Adams of Lakeland, FL and niece Tammy Skinner of Gonzales, LA.
