Barbara Ruth Tressler, 68, of Florence, South Carolina, died on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Mcleod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina. Born in Frederick County, MD, she was a daughter of the late Wilber Tressler and Darlene Stottlemyer Tressler. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Penny Tressler and brother, Rodney W. Tressler.

Barbara graduated from Thurmont High School and worked at State Farm Insurance in Frederick, MD, and later as an employee of the Department of Defense at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD. She was a member of All Saints Church in Florence, SC.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn M. Boller of Florence, SC and her son and daughter-in-law Earle G. and Alice Boller (Jr.) of Florence, SC; brother-in-law Todd Mohr of Frederick, MD; grandchildren, Bradley D. Fields and fiancé Diandra Denier of Madison, WI, Nikki Goodman and fiancé Avery Powell of Florence, SC, Aaron Goodman of Savannah, GA and Alicia Mundey of Florence, SC; niece Megan Shoop of Columbus, OH; great-grandchildren, Damian L. Fields, and Karter J. Fields; great-nephews Aiden Sohaili, Bentley Brady and Cooper Brady of Columbus, OH.

A church-led memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at All Saints Church.  A reception will follow the service at the church.
