A funeral service for Barbara Lorraine Hayes, widow of Edward Hayes will be at Noon Wednesday April 15, 2009 in Higgins Memorial Chapel, Freehold N.J. Interment in Maplewood Cemetery also in Freehold. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, from 10:00AM-12:00PM, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice PO Box 100551, Florence, SC. 29502 or to the ASPCA. Mrs. Hayes, 79, of Florence, formerly of Freehold, NJ, died April 11, 2009 in McLeod Hospice House. She was born, August 16, 1929 in Weehawken, NJ to Robert and Viola Wandell Burns. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, in Florence. She retired as a clerk for the Monmouth County, NJ Court House. Surviving are: daughters, Martha (Tim) Clark of Florence and Lisa Ann (Robert) Williams of Edgewater Park, NJ; son, Paul Hayes of Clarksburg, NJ; granddaughter, Amanda Hayes.
