Barbara Jean Bridgers, 78, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. She was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late Chalmers Curtis Broach and Blanche Adell Conyers and stepdaughter of the late Douglas Oliver Singletary.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Chalmers Curtis "Bunny" Broach, Jr.

Mrs. Bridgers was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and she was passionate about concentrating on the word of the Lord and attending Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving is her daughter, Kim Hall Berry (John); five grandchildren, Alexa Christine Hall, Taylor Elizabeth Hall, John Marschalk Berry, Jr., Wesley Grant Berry and Daniel Foster Berry; and a brother, Ronald Bruce Broach (Linda); three nephews, Kevin René Broach (Brittany), Stewart Ashley Broach (Beth), Chalmers Curtis Broach, III; one grand nephew, Chandler Stewart Broach and one grand niece, Bailey Elizabeth Broach.

A funeral service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church, with burial at Florence Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Mike Mills. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the church prior to the service.
