"Loving Mother of the Three J's" Audrey Grace (Dixon) Owens, 92, passed the evening of July 3, 2008, at the Florence Presbyterian Home. Audrey was born in Chicago, IL, the 5th of 6 children of the late William C. and Amanda Dixon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex A. Owens; brothers, Charles and Orville Dixon; and sisters, Edna Feege and Pearl Gronwall. Surviving are sons, Jerry, James Owens and daughter, Judith; her brother, Wilbur T. Dixon of Florence; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Audrey and her husband moved to South Carolina in 1962 and Florence in 1965. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Florence and a member of over 60 years in the Eastern Star. Burial was in Florence Memorial Gardens. A casual dress memorial service will be at 1:30PM, Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Florence Resbyterian Home of S. C., 2350 W. Lucas St., Florence. Her kind, loving and caring nature will live in the hearts of all who knew her. A commemorative gift may be made in memory of Audrey Owens to the Shriners Hospital, 2211 N.
