Audrey Mae Abrams Prosser, 85, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at her residence after an illness. Ms. Prosser was born in Lake City, SC, a daughter of the late Bennie and Paracornelia Powell Abrams. She worked at Electromotives until its closing and at Krispy Kreme. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Otto Prosser, Jr.; two daughters, Sandra Olivia Miles and Linda Gail Smith; two brothers; and three sisters. Surviving are her son, Ira (Carol) Prosser of Florence; a daughter, Shirene Cornelia Muff of Florence; a sister, Ella Scurry of Florence; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Union Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery, directed by Cain-Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2 Pm Thursday at the church.
