Pamplico, SC Arthur Richard Hunt, 86, of Pamplico, SC, died on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at his residence. Arthur was born in Carnarsie, NY, a son of the late James Henry and Louise Koehler Hunt. Arthur was a member of our Nation's greatest generation, having served during WWII with the US Navy. He was a self-employed carpenter who loved everyone he met. He was a member of Club Ivy in Brooklyn, NY. He is predeceased by his parents and seven siblings. Arthur is survived by his wife, Phyllis Ann Mignogna Hunt; daughters, Karen (Gary) Isgett of Pamplico and Christine (Ephraim Quinones) Hunt of Greenville, NY; a son, Mark (Betty) Hunt of Hannah; a sister, Margaret Smith of Wilmington, NC; seventeen grand-children and ten great grand-children; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Florence National Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
