Arthur (Corky) Johnson, 80, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

He was born in Puyallup WA., a son of the late Harold Frank Johnson and Alice Boone Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a son, Rusty League, brother, Walter Carl Johnson, and a sister, Barbara Jean Johnson.

Arthur was a truck driver for many years, he started his career as a log truck driver at a very early age. He served in the United States Army. In addition, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.  Spending time with his family was his favorite pastime.  He loved everyone, and was loved by many friends and family.

Surviving is his wife, Claudia Hughes Johnson; sister, Alberta Hagen, two sons, Marty League and Ricky League. In addition, 2 step daughters, Jennifer (Jim) Myers, Traci Bartley, and step son Chris (Sandy) Hughes.

He was also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
