Anthony Peter Insalaco, 95, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022.  He was born in Willimantic, CT, a son of the late Maria and Vincenzo Insalaco.  Anthony was a veteran of the US Navy and served in the Pacific Theater.  After service to his country, he worked at Electro-Motive in Willimantic Connecticut and in South Carolina for 33 years.  He founded and operated Anco Electronics in Florence, SC.  He was a member of the VFW, loved travelling and working outside in his yard.

Surviving are his sons, Ronald Insalaco (Donna) of Florence, and Thomas Insalaco (Jackie) of Saluda; two grandsons, Ray Insalaco and his family of Connecticut and Travis Insalaco and his family of South Carolina; and a granddaughter, Joanna Wideman and her family of South Carolina.

A graveside service with military honors, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in the Florence National Cemetery.
