Ann Margaret Wahlig Alvarez, 81, of Florence, S.C., died Monday, August 8, 2011 at Carolinas Hospital System. She was born in New York, a daughter of the late Charles and Olga Gottschalk Wahlig. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Pisciotta and her husband Sal of Florence, S.C.; three brothers, Sonny Wahlig and Robert Wahlig, both of Florida and David Wahlig of New York. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Cain Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
