Amber Nykkole Willis, 35, of Summerville, SC, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Tonjya Greye Willis Albright.  She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather, James Allen Willis.

Amber was a talented storyteller and writer.  She enjoyed historical moments and local history.  She was also very talented artistically in sketching, drawing and colors.  Amber had a beautiful, compassionate, giving and forgiving soul.  She was sweet and funny, but she was also very courageous and could be a firecracker if crossed.

Amber is survived by her mother, Tonjya; a son, Tristyn James Willis; maternal grandmother, Brenda Davis Poston; three aunts, Melynda Kaye Wearne, Brenda Joyce Nimtz and Kim Willis DeWitt; and several other extended family members.
