Allen Gregory "Greg" Hill, 53, of Florence, S.C., passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 peacefully at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Florence, S.C., a son of Barbara White Hill and the late Allen J. Hill who passed away in 1980. For 34 years Greg owned and operated Greg's Imports. He had a passion for cars and racing and he enjoyed fishing and living life to the fullest. Greg is survived by his mother of Florence; his wife, Jean D. Hill of Florence; five children, Allen Shelby Hill of Charleston; Porsche Jame Hill of Rock Hill; Jason Keith Dean of Savannah, Ga.; Ashley Nicole Dean and Breanna Michelle Dean, both of Florence; one brother, John A. "Tony" Hill of Florence; a special, Aunt Dianne Harrell of Florence; one grandson, Dandy's best buddy, Tucker K. Dean; and his beloved pets, Reese and Holly. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. in Garden of Memories Cemetery on Pamplico Highway directed by Cain Funeral Home.
