Manning, SC Alan Marcellus Hausfeld, 81, of Manning, SC, husband of Ruth Hausfeld, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC. He was born Januray 21, 1935, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert and Lela Kelly Hausfeld. He is predeceased by a son, Greg Hausfeld; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Jean and Bob O'Brien. Alan was a 1953 graduate of Chaminade High School and the University of Cincinnati Engineering School. He retired from Delco Products, a division of General Motors, as a general supervisor after 49 years of service. Alan and Ruth retired to Wyboo Plantation in SC in 1999. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Alan is survived by his wife Ruth of 47 years; a son, Matt (Kristen) Hausfeld; daughter-in-law, Amanda Hausfeld; a sister, Karen Hausfeld; grandchildren, Brooke, Rece and Landen. He will be missed by family and friends. A memorial mass will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, February 19, 2016, at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio.
